With technologies improving faster than we can imagine, it's never been more important to protect your data.
Safety as a Priority
Network security is an extremely important element to any computer system. That’s why at Lumina we use the very best practices to protect you from external and internal attacks. We offer a variety of security options that can be added with one of our products, or any existing system you may have.
We run frequent security and PCI compliance tests, and protect against external hacking as well as internal compromises. Nothing gets past us.
External Attacks
We perform a series of software/hardware system checks from outside your network by acting like a real-life hacker. We do this to see if there is any possibility of a hacker entering your network and gaining control of internal data, computers, and/or servers. Those guys are smart, but we're smarter.
Internal Attacks
Your network security should be robust; not only from the outside but from the inside as well. Accessing the soft spots of a network is much easier for someone "on the inside." Even an employee without extensive computer knowledge might have a hacker friend who can help him or her infiltrate and manipulate the corporate system. We run tests from within your network to locate the potential for damage or improper information access by your own employees.
Server Defense
Although standard installations of software contain security settings by default, we provide hardening (patching and updating of a server's configuration) to make your system airtight and bulletproof. We do this by changing specific machine-level items such as registry keys and special firewall settings, as well as applying custom patches against potential exploits.
Not sure what a "PCI compliance test" or another term means?
