Longwoods International Announces New Hire, Promotion
Longwoods International, an industry leader in travel and tourism research, analysis, and consulting, announced today a new hire and a promotion in its Research and Production team. Balakumar Raghuraman (Bala) has been hired as the company’s new Vice President of Research and Development.
“Bala brings extensive experience in big data research and analysis to the Longwoods family,” said Amir Eylon, President and CEO of Longwoods International. “As the company continues to grow, we expect to announce additional new hires and promotions in the near future.”
In addition to Bala’s hiring, Longwoods also announced that Research and Production team member Arianna Johnson, who started with Longwoods in January of 2023, has been promoted to Senior Research Analyst. The Research and Production team creates, refines, customizes, and delivers research products for hundreds of travel industry businesses and organizations throughout North America.
Bala joins the Longwoods International team with an already extensive background in data analytics and research. In his new role, Bala will join our methodological team ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy and integrity. He will also focus on product development and existing product enhancement to provide tailored analytical solutions to our clients.
Newly promoted to Senior Research Analyst, Arianna Johnson is recognized for her exceptional data analysis and data visualization skills. Arianna will continue to assist the Longwoods Production team by providing analytical support on quantitative studies and facilitating the creation of client deliverables.
