Welcome to Lobster & Swan.
This the place where I like to share all the things that bring me joy, from favourite recipes and interior ideas to daily discoveries and inspirations. I have been interiors and garden obsessed since childhood days spent playing in my treasure-filled playhouse in my grandparents’ flower-filled garden. The things and pastimes I held dear even then were many years older than me, from the box filled with my great grandmother’s old lip tints to the ancient and moth-eaten gold ballet tutu, I refused to take off. From the homegrown herb garden, I grew aged eight to tramping over miles of open fields and farmland. I grew up and still live on the East Sussex coast in the UK and am forever grateful to have the magnificent countryside and coastline as my grown-up playground.
When I first stumbled on the world of blogging in 2007 and created Lobster & Swan, it was one of the UK’s original lifestyle blogs. This journey has ultimately led me to do something that I love daily. As well as my posts here I run the sustainable online lifestyle store The Future Kept with my husband.
The support shown to me by my readers is something I cherish, I live to make yours and my surroundings a happier more magical place, taking pleasure in the simple joys and poetry of everyday life.
