exactly what I wanted from this movie:
the jokes were funny, the characters and acting great and the action scenes amazing. Deadpool and Wolverine isn’t a very complex movie but it doesn’t want to be and I think more people (especially Letterboxd users) have to accept the fact that a movie doesn’t have to be complex, in black and white and foreign to be good. This movie was truly great and everyone who says different is just straight up lying. The dynamic between Deadpool and Wolverine (and between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds) is just hilarious. I love the gruesome brutality connected to great jokes because this is what I love Deadpool for. Also the ‘breaking the fourth wall’ scenes were so funny.
Deadpool was my favorite super(hero) since I was 10 years old and for me this part was a full success.
