Z(emeckis)-grade schmalz, effective and technically spectacular, tugging the heartstrings really isn't such a different art from getting a scream or a laugh, and this has plenty of the latter too. The next time I am feeling unfulfilled or lonely or sad or depressed, I will take comfort in this: the inventor of the recliner has lived my dream.
