I've heard it be said that the greatest invention ever was the wheel. John McClane thinks it's the frozen pizza (he has a point). I think it's the movies. I still don't know how any get made or how any are even good with so many moving parts involved. The fact that some are masterpieces proves the ingenuity of those involved. Then there is Mad Max Fury Road. Forget for a second how they did it, as I'm more interested in the fact that someone came up with the idea and then thought, WE CAN DO THIS. After I get past that part then I'm stunned they actually did do it. Just off the top of my head, I can think of 6 moments that should have resulted in instantaneous death. I don't know how they did it, nor will I ever. I'll just forever marvel that they did. It's been 9 years since it came out, and nothing has come even remotely close to replicating what we see on screen. I wonder if, 50 years from now, people will still be saying that?
