Not a perfect film, but a perfect TIM BURTON FILM.

It's been forever since I saw the 1988 movie, so take this comparison with a grain of salt: From the second act onwards, BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE reminded me more of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW than of its actual predecessor. That's not a bad thing. Not a bad thing at all.
