If horror movies required only vibes to be good this would be the greatest horror film of all time. Thankfully it’s still pretty great and I really dug the weirdness of the plot even if it gets a bit overstuffed at times. Impossible to not love how disorienting and paranoia inducing the cinematography is. Also Maika Monroe is phenomenal in this and Nic Cage gives his version of Paul Dano’s riddler mixed with Leatherface and John Doe from se7en
8/10 I love watching horror movies in theaters because immersion is my main source of fear when it comes to movies. Also scary Midwest architecture. That’s also a big one
