Stoppp you’re crying day of the dead truly said fuck every dumb catholic holiday.
Coco is a beautiful animation meditating on family, death and Latino culture. Also can we say the colours and animation itself are gorgeous. The aspect of we die twice once when we physically die and a second when no one living has memories of us is done absolutely amazingly well. Low-key devastatingly sad. Honestly I wish this was a bit more philosophical cause it’s a bit too light at times, saying that it is a kids movie. Coco is a lil gem in Pixar’s catalogue. Family comes first always.
