When I was a kid, my little brother used to watch this movie ALL the time. It became so overwhelming that it ended up repelling me. When he grew out of it and moved on, I mustered the courage to watch it myself after some time. However, every time I do, I feel like there's something preventing me from enjoying its positive aspects. The animation, although it may look a bit odd now, was a significant technical advancement at the time, and it features good songs. I've even come across a couple of memes related to it.
But it just doesn't seem to resonate with me, neither technically nor narratively
