The Wild Robot is one of the most out of nowhere films to instantly get my attention with that trailer. Its animation leaves you in awe the whole way through. One thing I’ll give this film a perfect score on is that. Narratively, you get this really cute relationship between two unlikely characters. So much heart and care put into these group of characters that eventually become a family. It’s a love letter to nature and taking care of each other. There’s quite a few tear jerk moments that almost got me. I think for me, it’s got too much of a plot. That’s where emotionally it almost worked but then there was more. Around 3 moments in the film where it feels like we’re saying goodbye to these characters and it keeps going. Still recommend to go seeing this in theaters because it looks absolutely beautiful on a IMAX screen.
