Honestly, I really liked this one. Maybe even a tiny bit more than original. The original is such a classic and being the age I was when that came out it was amazing to watch. This one did some things better than the original starting with the CGI and practical effects. I loved the looks of all the dead characters and the Dolores villain character had an awesome look and she added a whole different aspect to the film which I enjoyed. It def continues and maybe even ups the anti on the zaniness of the first. I loved Babyjuice, and Keaton didn't lose a thing in all these years because The Juice was Loose in this...he was so good, pretty much nailed it again. All the familiar face of the returning cast made it feel cozy and brought in the nostalgia factor. Seeing Lydia, Delia and Charles reprised by the original cast members was needed and the addition of Ortega and Dafoe stepped it up a bit. Both give great performances. I was overall very pleased with this. The writing, the story, the characters, the cinematography, the colors and visual stimulators, they were all so well done and on point. The addition of the Halloween vibe was welcomed too. It was captivating and very entertaining!
