I’m glad that this forgoes the typical musician biopic tropes and just lets the (live!) music speak for itself. For all of the ways it could have gone, it almost seems fitting that Dylan’s humble beginnings would be told as if it were a concert of vignettes set to his earliest hits. Chalamet is wonderful here.
