Oh my fucking god this is the best movie I've seen this year. The direction is outstanding, the camera just sorta swoops in and out and it knows where to go and what we need to see. It's so well directed.
The music is incredible. The piano motif that repeats throughout the film made me more and more emotional every time I heard it. The singing was wonderful, the dancing was very well choreographed. All the visuals were stunning. Fuck.
Outstanding acting. I need both of them to oscars, but I'd be content with Emma Stone winning one. She's incredible in this.
The ending was so bittersweet and beautiful, and sad, and every other emotion all at once. It wasn't the stereotypical hollywood ending and it hit way harder than any happy ending ever could.
