i completely expected this film to be as wild and wacky as it was, maybe even a little more, and i was not disappointed. jenna ortega and winona ryder are my goth queens and i love and cherish them both, they are absolutely amazing. i loved all the slight references to the first film with the wedding and possession. i also think tim burton just loves making jenna ortega dance around in funky dresses. but, who am i to judge? michael keaton is still the perfect betelgeuse and i loved him as well. my only issue was that i didn't really care for many of the smaller plot lines and it all felt slightly jumbled to me but in a way that kind of made sense for the film. i don't know, but i loved it either way!
