From the director of Jason Goes to Hell! And that’s really not something I expected to say about a movie given his career post-F13, but this was pretty fun!
I was expecting a slasher based off the poster I guess, but it’s actually a horror comedy about a terrible family who gets poisoned by something in the holiday punch that makes everyone go crazy.
The characters are so awful that it’s fun watching them go after each other. The mother and aunt are both just the epitome of nip and tuck and I loved them. They were terrible but funny! And there’s an adorable gay couple in this too!
It’s all very low budget and some of the acting is not good so don’t go in expecting a big budget movie or anything as thoroughly bonkers and 90’s as JGtH and you should have a decent time!
