simbólico demais eu ter assistido O Pagador de Promessas logo após Luzes de Inverno. do Bergman. do interior da Bahia ao interior da Suécia, os dois filmes conversam sobre a burocratização da fé e o apego muito mais forte aos símbolos do que ao significado real de uma vida cristã - mais simbólico ainda é o impacto que filmes assim causam em alguém que, assim como eu, deixou de seguir esse falso cristianismo atado em regras de comportamento e cego diante de tudo que não se encaixa nessa lista de "posso" ou "não posso".

as discussões dessa obra, que podem parecer absurdas perante um espectador leigo, são apenas debates comuns nos círculos religiosos. da fé comercializada aos heróis milagrosos instantâneos.
