Honestly this may be my second favorite Spider-Man film.
Into the Spider-Verse works in every way. I know I’ve cried watching every Spider-Man film but oh boy I was in tears throughout this. Miles Morales is a character that got so much criticism but I absolutely loved reading his story when I was in high school, and this just elevated him to a whole other level. And oh my goodness the visuals are just mind-blowing. What a piece of art this is.
Every voice actor brings it, but shout out to Nick Cage and John Mullaney for making me die of laughter anytime they said anything.
My only real complaint is that the soundtrack ruins a couple key moments and I really wish they used the score for those scenes.
Other than that it’s a near perfect film that I will watch like 5 more times before it’s out of theaters. Thank you Lord and Miller.
(Will probably have a longer spoiler review next time I watch this. Did you guys SEE what Aaron Davis was watching on TV?????? Holy fuck.)
