Did not think a movie starring a Goose, a Fox, and a Robot would have me the most choked up I've been in a theater all year but here we are. Just wonderful in every sense. Pulls at your heartstrings while displaying very important/mature themes about the complexity of parenthood, acceptance of who you are and your differences, and also humanity and its relationship with nature and over reliance on technology.
The animation is STUNNING and on par with the Spiderverse movies in terms of it's pure visual marvel. The vibrance of colors and style they chose for the animation was perfect and very unique how it almost appeared like a painting at times. One of the rare occasions where the movie feels like it could end three different times but each time it continues on it becomes even more emotional and heartwarming.
Not only is 'The Wild Robot' the best animated film of the year, but it's also simply one of the best films of the year in general. Just hand this piece of art the Academy Award right now please.
