Amazing how I most likely first watched this when I was 11 or 12. I’ve been slowly revisiting a lot of the films I watched when I first truly started watching what I saw in my movie books and this was certainly one of the most mythological to me. I think it scared me a bit! I’ve seen it a few times thru the years but damn if this doesn’t get better and better with age.
Films were so much better when the director was a raging psychopathic alcoholic.
This should be one of the five films that are included for other life forms to see of what humans did.
Some of the greatest actors just killing and swearing and dirty and sweating their asses off for Peckinpah’s madness. What’s better than that
A pinnacle of cinema bar none.
