Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is exactly I hoped it would be.
It captures the old-school Tim Burton vibe once again, with stunning visuals, impressive set and costume designs, and well-crafted practical effects. The film creates an atmosphere that perfectly suits the story—it's creative and fun, especially thanks to Michael Keaton's performance. There are some great new additions; Jenna Ortega, for instance, fits perfectly into this world. However, the film has almost too many characters and plotlines, causing it to lose itself at times.
Overall, it's entertaining though, and many of the jokes land.
