"Almost ugly cried on plane, but kept it pretty :)" was supposed to be my caption. But what can I say, the ending hit me hard.
Also, I feel like the world nudged me to watch this movie because it felt bad for making me sit through the longest 90 minute movie of my life yesterday. Jk lol, this movie has been out for awhile. I could have just watched it and skipped Super Mario Bros (watching it was still fun). But yeah, I liked a musical more than an animated children's movie, so there was some character development for me as well.
Anyways I really enjoyed the movie, and though I historically haven't been a huge fan of musicals, I loved how the movie used the songs to explain or reflect complex emotions and parts of the story. It also made me interested in jazz. The ending was quite sad, yet also beautiful. Big fan, but my hoodie is quite snotty now.
