This is filmmaking at its best. I'd say they don't make them like this anymore, but to quote Ray Stantz "They NEVER made them like this!" A visually breathtaking film with nothing but awe-inspiring art design.
Whether it be the production, the sets, the costumes, the makeup, the visual effects, the cinematography, or the stunts. All of these things are done better than anyone could have ever done them. There's a reason why this movie won so many technical Oscars.
Not just a beautifully crafted, masterfully orchestrated, sequence of events that we call film. But a perfectly told story unraveling through a non-stop thrill ride that can be complexly picked apart, or simply put "one big chase sequence."
However you look at it, there's no denying the practical effects and stunts and sequences put on screen by being actually filmed live with a camera make it one of the greatest achievements in cinematic history.
Tom Hardy is phenomenal as always. So is Nicholas Holt, and everyone for that matter. But especially Charlize Theron. It's funny how even when she's covered in dirt, bald, and missing an arm, she's still one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Talk about a badass role model.
