Hottest film of 2016.
This was a very weird film.
Not as funny as I'd expect, but the comedy was very subtle.
No one in the theater was really laughing, but I was sittin' in the back like a nice guy, acknowledging everything.
Right now I'm driving with a bee in the backseat, and I'm laughing for some reason.
The 70s L.A. scene is great to get into, the chemistry between Crowe and Gosling are interesting, making for some hilarious and memorable moments.
The story is more complicated than I thought, which is nice to see in movies like this.
One of the best buddy cop films out there, it's worth seeing, but the humor and style really aren't for everyone.
Cynical and subtle.
