The best benefit I have to saving so many classics for adulthood is that I've eliminated the bias of nostalgia behind saying something like THIS MOVIE RULES!! Builds tension better than most of everything else out there these days, I was on the edge of my seat and having a blast. I wish more thrillers prioritized having entertaining characters as much as they prioritized having good monsters, there are so many fun moments between the sailors and townspeople in this that outshine the moments with the shark. Spielberg has many haters but I'm not one of them, he's forever one of the best to ever do it, and Williams along with him.
