Falling in love like in movies, however, it wants to romance the audience. it wants to make us laugh, to shatter our preconceived expectations, to mesmerise us with it's grayscale cinematography that is so pristine. it wants to poke fun at everything that is wrong with the film industry, from the ongoing ageism to La La Landish depressing ending. Here, most of Yandy Laurens’ creative pursuits find great success. However, they come at one cataclysmic price. His impressive ability to fuse the funny with the melancholia molds the film beguiling to simply be treated as a love interest.
