there’s this trend of movies that are clearly made for people who are addicted to tik tok and it needs to end…. obnoxious editing, bizarre pacing, throwing a bunch of shit at the wall but being too lazy to coalesce it into anything substantial… this is not a smart, clever, or thought-provoking movie. it’s really not about anything at all besides “beauty standards=bad.” references were so heavy handed it was insulting.
but it was very entertaining and fun, i loved the body horror and Margaret qualley is beautiful!!
