I mean, this has everything. Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, energy, soul, and its visual grandeur. There’s not usually in a place in my heart for musical romances but I just keep surprising myself don’t I. La La Land ignites a spark of creativity and passion, uplifting and destroying you at the same time with its grace and inner storytelling beauty. Damien Chazelle is just soo good at movie magic, every few minutes I muttered to myself, “oh how clever!”.
There’s gonna be a time where hopefully, I have someone special, watching this with me as I laugh and cry and reflect on the person I am.

Until then, Here’s to the fools who dream.
