i was really excited to watch gladiator II, and now after watching it i feel a little bad saying that it didn’t exceed my expectations, i expected a little more from the movie. for me, the movie could even have focused on the twins because they were fantastic throughout. pedro pascal and denzel washington are also incredible in the film. paul mescal is a great actor, but i feel his character was very limited and had a strong connection only to maximus, which became tiring for me. the soundtrack of gladiator, as always, is flawless, and the cinematography is beautiful.
