Lost is without a shadow of a doubt my absolute favourite piece of media. I don't think anything has shaped my tastes in art more than this unique, beautiful, and at times, ridiculous show. I feel a little crazy saying that sometimes, and my passion for it when it comes up in conversation is usually met with 'bUt WeReN't ThEy AlL dEaD aT tHe EnD?!' Lost wasn't perfect, but the best things in life usually aren't.
This could have been a comprehensive retelling of the history of Lost, but the people who are going to watch a 2 hour documentary on this show already know all that stuff. Shaping this documentary around the fans and the impact the show has had on them makes for such a wonderfully heartfelt watch, and made me feel a little less crazy for caring so much about a show that ended over ten years ago.
It's packed with some great interviews with the cast and crew, and it's great to hear everyone talk so honesty about their experiences with the show, not all of which were always positive. It made me cry twice, and one section nearly broke my wife. I would easily recommend this to any and all Lost fans out there.
