I'm calling it. The best Spiderman movie made so far. Incredible.
The heart of many strands of the comics captured perfectly. The humour and pathos of the comics excellently showed to bring something to the screen never seen before. An origin story that's more than an origin story. It's great.
The visuals and style of the animation are superb, really making a comic book come to life on the screen. It's fresh and engaging in a way that I haven't seen before. The direction of the film is excellent.
The voice casting as well is also spot on. Jake Johnson as a disillusioned Peter Parker is brilliant and fits the character perfectly but saying that, all the voice cast were excellent. Spot also Chris Pine too.
Finally the soundtrack. Brilliant and deserves awards. It matches Miles Morales universe perfectly and I want to own the soundtrack right now. Don't wait. Just go and see the film!
