First time I saw this I actually thought it wasn't that good, glad on rewatch it is much better than I remember. Everything you expect from James Gunn at this point with great humor, fun action, and a great emotional core. Everyone puts in a fun performance and Kurt Russell is a great little villian character. I wish the final fight was a bit better though and some of the cgi in it was a bit too cartoonish. Splitting the team for most of the 2nd act of the film also is to the detriment of the film but they find the remedy for that in the 3rd act. Really solid sequel and a great trilogy from Gunn. Consistently this is the best part of the MCU
