I know very little about Bob Dylan, so for this film to peak my interest and for me enjoying myself while watching A Complete Unknown shows it's a pretty good film. Timothee Chalamet gives a incredible performance here. I think he's gotta be the best actor under 30 right now. Every role is phenomenal and exteme variety seems the norm for what he chooses to do. Elle Fanning & Edward Norton's forehead are both great in this as well. James Mangold does another great job as director and should win some love back after Dial of Destiny (which i did like somewhat as well but that seems to not be well beloved). I can't wait for his Star Wars film, please don't be canceled. I do think if I knew more about Bob Dylan my review could be more positive or maybe even less but as it is I really liked the film with my little knowledge of the subject matter. Won't win best picture but I could see a Chalamet underdog narrative start to form. Nice way to spend Christmas Eve!
