Home invasions, a lot of the time, are hit-or-miss. Hush, You're Next, and The Strangers are great examples of home invasion films.
The Purge is somewhere in between.
More original than other horror films to be released in recent years but too predictable to actually be scared, The Purge, though extremely entertaining, is a bit disappointing.
