I was skeptical going into this film. Normally, these kind of films are either amazing and play with your mind or just fall flat and you can tell the ending within the first minutes of the film.
However, The Gift is a sometimes creepy, always edge-of-your-seat thriller. It's fantastically written, directed, and acted. Thanks Joel Edgerton for writing such an amazing film.
The few stars of the film have a certain chemistry that you begin to feel for the characters throughout the film, which doesn't really happen a whole lot in films today.
