Just a year after MTV released My Super Psycho Sweet 16, it was decided that a sequel was needed.
Though not as creepy and fun as the first one, My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2 proves to be a fun and exciting sequel to a short-lived franchise.
I'm not going to lie: I really like Skye. I love her character. She has so much going on around her and the only thing she can ever focus on is the fact that her dad is a psychopathic murderer who is now going after Skye's half-sister Alex and her mother.
I was really entertained by this one.
There are, however, a few flaws to the film. For starters, there's a few scenes that plainly don't make sense. For example, the scene, or dream sequence, where Skye stabs Zoe in the neck. What was the point of that? Was it to show that Skye herself could have some psychopathic tendencies? Is it trying to be like the end of Halloween 4?
Another flaw is the acting. The acting, for the most part, is solid. However, there are a few actors who overact quite a bit. For instance, Chris Zylka overacts in a few of his scenes. It's annoying, but it adds to the film's B-movie value.
Overall, My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2 is a fun sequel with plenty of blood and intense and creepy kills. I'd say check it out.
