What are your 10 favorite films ever?
The Sheltering Sky (d. Bernardo Bertolucci)
Bringing Up Baby (d. Howard Hawks)
Citizen Kane (d. Orson Welles)
The Hours (d. Stephen Daldry
Barry Lyndon (d. Stanley Kubrick)
Requiem for a Dream (d. Darren Aronofsky)
Rear Window (d. Alfred Hitchcock)
Some Like It Hot (d. Billy Wilder)
La La Land (d. Damien Chazelle)
The Boys in the Band (d. William Friedkin)

What is one of your favorite festival moments?
Definitely the Q&A moments, when you can experience the real effect of films on people. Their questions are very often surprising. I also love the events where you can actually get to know guests by talking to them in a relaxed atmosphere.

What is your guilty pleasure film?
Victor Victoria (d. Blake Edwards)

What's one thing we should know about you that is NOT film related?
I am a total music buff; I collect vinyl records and CDs (I have over 2500 vinyls), compulsively.

What do you consider your hometown?
I was born in Aosta and grew up there (a little town in the West Italian Alps, on the border with France and Switzerland). I have been living in Torino, though, for more than 25 years now, so I think it is my hometown.
