I saw everyone giving this bad reviews and I actually didn’t think it would be that bad but here we are. the plot was so stupid and I feel like they tried to just make something fake deep so people could draw meaning from it but it meant that the entire thing was so dull, dry and empty. the dialogue was ridiculous and the characters weren’t fleshed out at all I literally can’t remember any of their names and their relationships to each other felt so forced as well. I even thought the performances were so lacklustre and felt really stiff and again, forced. I actually can’t believe this was made by and with the same people of nightcrawler cuz that’s one of my favourite films ever and it’s so much better than velvet buzzsaw. also if you wanted to see more from zawe ashton she’s so much better in fresh meat so check her out
