While it's by no means a good movie, I think it's gotten a bad rap over the years. This film is the epitome of harmless 90s cheese - it's a lighthearted, family-friendly romp that passes the time well enough. Sure, the plot is predictable, the acting is subpar, and Shaq's rapping skills are... questionable, but there's something endearingly nostalgic about this movie that makes it hard to hate. It's fine, it's fun, and it's a relic of a bygone era - so let's all just take a deep breath and cut Kazaam some slack.
