Cats Don’t Dance is a charming, if imperfect, throwback to the days when non-Disney studios produced animated films. This 1997 gem offers a delightful glimpse into old Hollywood, with a narrative that moves at a pleasant clip, rarely getting bogged down. While the film's visuals hold up surprisingly well, the soundtrack - comprised of period-specific tunes - occasionally grates. Nevertheless, Cats Don't Dance proves to be a mildly entertaining, nostalgic treat that will appeal to those yearning for a bygone era of animation.
