just realised i didn’t review la la land the first time i watched it so i’ll do it now. ok so, i am not normally a fan of romantic movies. the soppy boring love stuff isn’t really my cup of tea but this. this is something far different. la la land is so incredibly heartbreaking i can barely bring myself to watch it again. the tear jerking relationship between mia and seb is so... real. not everything always works out in a relationship, sometimes it’s just not meant to be. paired with the absolutely gorgeous cinematography, this film is incredible with amazing music as well. ugh i love this film. just writing this makes me want to sob and watch this again.
