Oz Perkins movies can generally be summed up as "no plot, just vibes," so it's a bit surprising to see him turn his hand to something that nods vaguely towards the procedural. Easily the most accessible of his movies thus far, and pleasantly tense in the first... let's call it two-thirds. Begins to crumble towards the end, but while the Oscar-winning comparisons are overblown, it's still pretty good fun.
