THE musical event of the decade and of the modern era. A magical and enchanting musical and fantastical adventure you genuinely have to experience theatrically. The world-building, songs, performances, visuals, cinematography, story, musical numbers, score, vocals, costume and set design were all brilliantly executed. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande make THE duo of a lifetime and they literally bewitchingly and spellbindingly captured the essences of both Elphaba and Glinda throughout this emotional journey. Their harmony and vocals interwoven together? I literally got chills when Popular and Defying Gravity finally started playing. Wicked is a delightful and show-stopping spectacle and a perfect adaptation of an iconic story brought to life on the big screen and I can’t wait to see more of what this world has to offer and the reunion of these two witches in part two.
