This was a pretty fun update to the story! I loved seeing Lydia and Delia in the future, doing their ghost and artist things. Astrid was a little two-dimensional at first (no hate to Jenna, she rules!) but I’m glad her character became more well-rounded towards the end. My issue with this movie is pretty much the same as everyone else - there were way too many stories happening at once. Beetlejuice’s ex-wife? I really didn’t care because it wasn’t explored enough to make me care. I really just wanted to hang with Lydia and see what was gonna happen with the family. Beetlejuice’s new anti-hero role was excellent, while that fuckboy storyline was a funny twist. All in all, it had enough fan service to make me have fun. Poor Bob, though!
