Where is the color. Why is everything blown out and why, when we finally get the appropriate saturation for the first time, is it reserved for Glinda?
Elphaba is greater than what society can comprehend, yet she blends into the foliage and is lit terribly poorly- the look of her wiz and i deserved so much more exuberance! We get the wheat field?

Lovely story, incredible practical designs, fantastic showmanship but captured so awfully the magic becomes an afterthought
Happy that kids can grow up with this story and it can become (even more) mainstream/palpable just really don’t get sacrificing the entire look for
modernity
Readily cried more than the last showings and had a fab time laughing w Sav and shall show up for part 2 but I really, sinceriously hope they try to hold space for vibrancy in the next 🫧
