Just here to be on the right side of history and acknowledge the fact that this will be (and deserves to be) remembered as one of the great sci-fi films of the early 21st century. Haters be damned. Say what you want about Villeneuve, this thing is a technical knockout.
On rewatch it holds. It has just enough ideas to get by. I wish it had more, but what you get is sufficient for the ride. We should all be very excited for Dune.
