I don't think i let myself enjoy this film to its full potential the first time I watched it. I was so caught up in how unrealatable I found it seeing as I have never been someone who desired any life like the life LA has to offer. But this time around I noticed how much MORE this film has to offer.
The soundtrack alone is one I could hum to all day. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are such great polar opposites that there's something offered on the screen for everyone. This time I let myself get caught up in the love story. In the push and pull and how love wears out and while it's happening it is exhausting and awful but once it's done and your life is moving in a different direction you can often find comfort in the ones you've loved before. I've had a hard time lately and as cheesy as it is this film made me feel like things really can work out in the end.
