Honestly not really sure what to think about this one. It’s not good but it is good, if that makes any sense.
I will say I didn’t see the ending coming, and I think the writing was quite solid throughout. But there’s just something missing I can’t quite put my finger on it. Harrison ford was perfect for the role, ambiguous character that had me certain he did it one minute and then certain he didn’t the next. It might be too convoluted for its own good, and wow is it slow, but all things considered it’s fun (maybe not the right word for a movie with this premise) and keeps your attention.
It’s pretty damn graphic though, and not in a way where there’s blood and violence, just that the subject matter is intense. I understand it’s a tough topic, but I just don’t like rape stuff, Its the one topic that makes me squirm. Maybe that’s why this one wasn’t a home run for me
