The Wild Robot is top tier in Dreamworks animation catalogue and it's probably the best animated movie of this year.
This movie just has such a fantastic story, with so much heart and humour which are perfectly balanced. I think one of the biggest appeals with this movie is that both younger and older audiences will be able to connect and enjoy this wonderful tale. The story tackles themes like finding your place in the world and even being a parent but it does it s perfectly.
The voice cast for one is stellar in this movie and the voice acting is fabulous from everyone. Stand outs being Lupita Nyong'o as Roz who gives such a human performance in voicing a robot if that makes sense. Pedro Pascal also churns in probably his best performance and he voicing a animated fox yeah I know, Fink was the best character in this movie for sure.
I mean the animation in this movie was stunning, Dreamworks reaching heights with their animation that Disney have struggled to do. All of the landscapes looked beautiful and the colours just popped throughout the entire movie.
The humour in this movie works so well as well because you have those jokes that the younger audiences would find hilarious but there's also some adult jokes in here which are hilarious in their own right.
I don't know I just thought this was a fantastic piece of animated cinema and it's a movie everyone should watch.
