A very great sequel to the first smile film! I think both are great films and that they will make a great double feature. Especially since the second film takes place 6 days after the first. What a fun new take on the anthology being created from the first film! Not super gory but the gore is used in the right way! Jump scares in my opinion worked half the time with some of the good ones being from the trailer so it took me out of it when those scenes happened. My favorite jump scare is when Skye is in bed with her friend and her head becomes car headlights I thought that was really clever. My two complaints are how long this film was! I feel we could have cut out 20 minutes of the film and the storyline still would have worked. And my last complaint is the not being able to tell what is reality for majority of the film yes I love the idea of not knowing what’s real and what is. But when you over use it like they do in this film it makes me wonder how far back was real and it creates more holes in the plot that I want answered.
Over all a great film a little too long and some plot holes with the jump from reality to not reality! But make’s up for it with that ending!!!!! Now I just need a third one to see where they take it. Gore wasn’t over used and the jump scares work half the time. Overall a solid film that pushes the smile world forward!
